| With Joel’s newest release “A Sudden Change in the Atmosphere” he has entered into new territory with both the maturity of his music and the audio production quality.The EP was recorded with up-and-coming producer Mike Odmark at Winter Beard Studios in Nashville, TN. Session musicians included Gabe Ruschival (bass) and Jeremy Lutito (drums) of Disappointed by Candy and Jars of Clay. The album was mastered by Matt Odmark (Jars of Clay).
This full-band album features a brand new batch of songs that take you through Joel’s mind through his craftful art of storytelling. Another new element of the album is Joel’s increasing usage of the banjo throughout the album. The CD artwork illustration was all painted on actual wood by an amazing local artist - Claire Boustred. The artwork is available in the actual CD in a large eight panel fold-out insert. |
